Oberoi Hotel & Branded Residences Wadi Safar Diriyah

Scope of Work:
CSI is directly appointed as an Independent Commissioning Agent (hereinafter referred to as the ICA) to monitor and report to the Client, the Engineer, and the Construction & Site Supervision Consultant on the progress and quality of the commissioning processes. The ICA is also responsible for ensuring compliance with Operating and Maintenance Manuals, Record Documentation, preparing training manuals, and any other related scope as required.

CSI’s role includes review, inspection, and advisory duties in accordance with the necessary attendances, information, documentation, and drawings.

Wadi Safar is a geographic area and wadi system located to the west of Riyadh. It forms a natural branch and tributary to Wadi Hanifah from the central portion of the wadi. The area is being developed by Diriyah Gate Company Limited (DGCL) as an expansion of the Diriyah Gate development, situated immediately east of Wadi Safar.

The Oberoi Hotel and Branded Residence is located on the northern plateau, featuring a high escarpment perimeter to the south and west of the plot — a defining feature that shapes the layout and design of the hotel, offering panoramic views of the valley and its surroundings.

Adopting a Najdi architectural character in harmony with the Wadi Safar development theme, The Oberoi Hotel and Branded Residence will include 78 rooms and 34 fully serviced luxury residences, and is expected to open in 2026.
